Quezon City 350 SQM
We want to uplift the neighborhood and give it a fresh face. To install a gem without being that much noticed in this urban setting was the biggest challenge we faced for the project.
Breathing life to this concrete jungle by converting setbacks to lush landscaping is a strategy that we presented to the client. The public spaces of the house are designed to frame the landscaping, thus giving the spaces ambient lighting and ventilation. Every where you are in the house, not a dark spot will greet you.
Slats were designed around the house in a rhythmic pattern allow a filtering buffered view from inside and outside the designed spaces which also gives a touch of privacy even though the glazing are pulled all the way down to maximize light and ventilation.
Equipped with green renewable energy, the house sits pretty well with mechanical cooling without hurting the user’s wallet. It enables us to achieve this hotel-like ambiance that warrants the user to stay in this house forever.
Designed on the third floor is a flexible space with unhampered views and lush landscaping that enables the user to entertain guests or convert it to another room in the future as required. This house transforms you to an urban spa at the entry, to a boutique coffee shop even to a hotel suite as you wonder around. Having that much flexibility and ambiance now-a-days is a luxury especially being situated in this urbanscape we call the metropolis.
