Nestled in a private compound, the challenge was to provide privacy and uniqueness to this project. One of the best strategy was to maximize the use of the setback against the public road and convert that weakness to our asset as a private courtyard garden, from which the whole design originated. As you enter the residence thru the foyer, the open landscape greats the user giving it a different feel of a luxurious space compared to the neighboring house utopian layouts. All of the public and private spaces spring from this garden giving the house unhampered view. The living room is embraced by a pocket garden aside from the main courtyard allowing air and light to flow passively thru the spaces.
Thru careful study and analysis, we were able to create beautiful surprises and vistas as you experience the house. Not only the public spaces open up to the courtyard, but also the bedrooms, with filtered shading architectural elements. Wide openings, long overhangs allow the users to enjoy the design strategy.
Embracing the outdoors with the indoors is what we always have in mind when we strategize lovely spaces.
The main spaces usher an exciting view of the garden giving it a more relaxed ambiance as the user experience the spaces. Hidden gems are discovered as we walk thru this during the construction stage with the client, we can’t wait to see how much potential this has.
